14R Feasibility
As part of a due diligence study to determine if this steep, 45-degree slope, and difficult site is buildable, ECA reviewed existing Land Use Codes, Subdivision documents, Historic Design Guidelines, Surveys, Geotechnical and Geohazard Reports, Rockfall mitigation fences and surveys. A conceptual design was developed in less than 5 weeks to calculate above grade volumes, cubic yards of soil excavation, scope of soil nailing and shoring to document for a local contractor to price before the due diligence time expired. Plans, elevations and sections were submitted for regulatory review to get an idea of how they would respond to an official submittal on this site.
